We're a small, dedicated team of craftsmen based in Bristol, specialising in the renovation, repair, draught-proofing, double glazing, and painting of wooden sash windows, casement windows, and doors.

Our unique double glazing technique — which replaces the glass with double glazed units, while keeping all the original timber — has been approved for listed buildings by Bristol City Council. This means your home retains every period detail, from its Victorian cornicing to its Georgian proportions, with none of the character lost.
 

We're also proud to offer a truly sustainable approach to window renovation. Rather than retaining the frames and discarding the windows, we restore what's already there. Replacement windows not only fall short on authenticity — with their sharper edges and different rebate details — they're also far less kind to the environment.
 

To renovate windows we use a carefully perfected process of stripping back to bare wood before repainting, bringing out all the beautiful original detail and leaving them looking as good as the day they were made.
